Life Goals For A Woman – Examples
If you too are an ambitious woman with goals in life, dreaming of becoming successful, more confident, and happier (as a woman should be) then this post is for you!
I’m going to share 7 epic goals that every woman should set, and also I’m going to guide you on how to set your goals to be creative and effective.
Finally i have 10 women goals quotes, to empower you to chase your dream life! Let’s get started:
I think you ‘ll agree with me when I say that January is for most of us the best period of time to set new personal goals for everything we wish to accomplish in our lives.
We all find ourselves going more inward to reflect on the past year and start thinking and planning about the future.
New year, new beginnings and we want to start fresh.
We are more optimistic about achieving our ambitions and determined to work hard to improve our lives and truly become healthier and happier.
According to Statista about half of Americans wanted to start 2021 by getting in shape.
In fact the most common New Year’s resolution was “doing more exercise or improving my fitness” , which was pointed out by 50 percent of respondents.
Losing weight was the year’s resolution for 48 percent of Americans while saving more money was the year’s goal for 44 percent of respondents.
All great resolutions, right? There’s only one problem: According to Forbes, studies have shown that approximately 80% of New Year’s resolutions fail!
Actually when comparing past resolutions of 2020 and 2019, it’s obvious that most people still want to do more exercise, lose weight and get financially stable!
Why? Because these kinds of resolutions, especially in times of covid chaos, can feel like a completely overwhelming way to put pressure on yourself and feel like a failure before spring.
These are all good, simple goals, don’t get me wrong. But we set the same New Year’s Resolutions every single year and then by March they’re out of the window.
What are the best goals in life for a woman?
Especially for a woman, who undoubtedly has to serve multiple and important roles in her life, it is so important to set creative goals to set you up for success.
Seeking success in so many areas of life, as a mother, wife, career professional, it is so easy to fall off track and forget about what is important.
You need purpose, successful planning, clear objectives to achieve and girl goals in place to help you succeed.
Thankfully, for 2022 we are going to set 7 epic, smart, goals, for a woman to have in life, that you can actually follow through the course of the year and intentionally create the life you dream and deserve.
Let’s dive right in. But first lets get organized for 2023 with my favorite planner ever:
7 Personal Women’s Life Goals For Women To Better Yourself This Year
Identify Your Real Purpose in Life To Stay True to Yourself
The number one goal you should set, if truly happy is what you wanna be, is to get to know yourself a little bit more. You need to identify and be real to your authentic self, and actually direct your actions accordingly.
Listen to that little voice inside your head. Who are you? What do you like doing? What do you want from your life?
If for example you wish to have a fulfilling job then you need to discover your passions, your talents and skills. What excites you? What are those things that you’re naturally good at?
You need to work with yourself to identify your core values and script your life based on them. Keep people around you that are aligned with those values and with whom you feel comfortable being YOU.
Be brave enough to speak your mind. Stop holding back your thoughts and feelings. This way you’re not being true to yourself and that can cause a series of problems, even health issues.
Prioritize Inner Healing and Self Care – You need Health Before Everything Else
In order to enjoy anything in life, you need to be healthy. Physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally healthy.
Start by prioritizing all annual check-ups that need to be done.
Unless we are ill, it has become common for people to neglect and even compromise our health. This needs to change.
Booking your general check-up and making sure not to miss it means that you are already a step ahead with your health. It’s the most valuable gift you can give to yourself.
Another simple way to improve your health is by establishing some good habits in your daily life. Drinking enough water, having a healthy diet, getting enough sleep, cutting down on processed foods, exercising daily.
Also you need to make time to relax on a daily basis, to reduce stress and be capable of dealing with life challenges. Relaxing involves practicing self care, sleeping, reading a book, practicing a hobby… options are limitless.
Finally this year go ahead and remove negative energy from your life. There are so many ways to do it:
- Set healthy boundaries in your relationships
- Stop complaining
- Let go of toxic friends and most importantly
- Learn to control and direct your own thoughts to manifest in your life the things you wish to have and not the things you are afraid of.
Build Strong Relationships
If there’s one thing I am mostly glad I have in my life, that is strong relationships.
Through the years I’ve invested in building a strong relationship with my special person, strong bonds with my family but also with a few friends that I also consider family.
Good relationships protect our mental health and wellbeing at any stage of life.
And in order to build healthy, strong relationships, you need to give time to people and be present for them.
You need to actively listen to what others have to say in a non-judgemental way but also to honestly allow yourself to be listened to and supported.
Good relationships help people live longer, and deal with stress better.
Evaluate the sorts of relationships you have with people, and the sorts of relationships you would like to have.
You might find you want to make new friendships, or perhaps you want to try to make your existing relationships stronger.
Expand your Network
Have you ever heard the phrase “ You are the average of the five people we spend the most time with”?
Well that’s why it’s time for you to get out of your comfort zone to expand your network and knowledge and meet more contacts.
By expanding your social and professional network you are exposing yourself to more opportunities which leads to both personal and business growth.
To do so you should:
- Be brave in meeting new people
- Attend networking events
- Attend professional meetings and shows
- Volunteer
- Reconnect with former contacts (alumni, professors, co-workers etc)
Just GET STARTED! The more you network, the more you’ll grow and learn how to make lasting connections.
By continually putting yourself out there and meeting new people, you strengthen your connections, get new ideas and support , and of course you build self confidence that you can take with you anywhere
Clear Out Debt
The decision to get out of debt is life-changing. However it involves more than just paying out loans.
It means knowing exactly how much you owe, changing your spending habits, learning how to live on a budget.
You could consider contacting a financial advisor to help you repay debt faster.
Credit counselors advise you on creating budgets and recommend a solution that you can take or leave. Take advantage of that.
Or you could use your free time to try and generate more income. Keep reading to learn more.
Learn A New Skill – Work on getting a passive income
What a better way to invest in yourself and set solid boundaries for the future than learning a new skill. This will make your life better no matter what you do for a living and it could also generate more income for you.
However be sure to pick a skill where the journey to mastery will be as exciting to you as the finish line. Research shows that the actual enjoyment of learning a new skill makes it more likely to stick to it.
Here’s a look at some skills that will be relevant for years to come:
- Web Development
- Building websites
- Graphic Design
- Investing
- Photography
- Video Editing
- App Design
- Learn a new language
- Become a dessert master
- Landscaping
- Master the art of makeup
- Social Media master
- Photoshop
For almost every skill you choose to learn there are online learning platforms with thousands of creative courses and classes taught by experts to help you learn even for free.
The internet has made it entirely possible to learn a new skill even at the ease of your own house within a few weeks or a few months.. You can choose to read books or blogs, listen to audio books, or attend classes.
Totally up to you.
Take Responsibility – Be a leader
If you want to succeed in life then you have to let go of the victim mentality. Taking full responsibility for your life, your thoughts, and your actions is one of the biggest steps in creating a more positive life.
Stop blaming other people and circumstances for what happens or not happens to you. Stop complaining! You are 100% responsible for your life.
You are responsible for your thoughts, your habits, your actions. Understand that you are fully in charge of your own destiny through your own decisions.
Once you understand that you are THE ONLY ONE who has the power to create the life you deserve, you stop relying on others to help you live the kind of life you want.
Taking responsibility for your life means living intentionally, having clear goals and objectives and also making the right decisions to take you where you wanna be.
Taking responsibility for your life makes YOU the leader in your life.

Epic Goals In Life For Women – How to Write Your Goals
So there you have a list of 7 epic women’s goals, that every woman should set to actually see improvement in her life!
However, that’s not all. Let me ask you this: Have you ever been on a plane without knowing what the final destination is? Or without knowing the actual departure and arrival date and time?
Well it’s the same with your goals. To have good goals you need to make them S.M.A.R.T.. Let’s elaborate on this. What does S.M.A.R.T. stands for?
Specific: What am I actually aiming for? For example if I say “I want to be rich”. That is a very general statement, it’s not a specific goal. Whereas saying “i want to have 10.000 dollars in savings by the end of the year” is quite specific.
Measurable: You need to be able to quantify and track your progress. For example “losing weight” is again so generic. You need to define exactly the number of kg you want to achieve. I.e “I will be 60kg by the end of the year”, or “ I am losing 3kg per month”.
Achievable: The goal needs to be achievable to motivate you to keep working towards success. For example “I want to make 10.000 dollars by the end of the day”. That’s impossible for most people to achieve. A more possible goal would be “ I want to make an extra 50 dollars per day”.
Relevant: The goal should be relevant to where you want your life to go. For example, setting a goal to learn Chinese when it’s not useful for you as an individual or a professional, could end up taking too much of your daily time and effort. Instead, learning a skill or language that is relevant to your overall career plan would be best for you.
Time Bound: Set deadlines for yourself. Any goal should have a start and a finish time. If you allow yourself unlimited time to take action and achieve your goal, then you won’t have that feeling of urgency and your motivation will decrease.
Women Setting Creative Goals In Life
Setting goals in life, not only for a woman, but for all people, is the perfect way for personal development and personal growth.
In fact, goal setting is your first step to success. That’s why successful people always have definable goals with a step-by-step plan on how to bring those goals to fruition.
Female life goals help you stay on track and say “no” to all those things that are not aligned with your dream life.
You are an independent strong woman. Destined for great things, so you need good goals.
Goals that give you the confidence to step up to achieve your ambitions and aspirations!
I am here to tell you that you need to design a life based on your truth and deepest dreams.
Get excited! It’s a New Year my girl! New start, new opportunities, set goals to work through and grow! It’s your time! This is your year!
